Boxee - Trying out Boxee at the moment. Based on XBMC it’s a cross platform media centre with a difference - social media interaction. Users can view, rate and recommend content pulled from a host of social media apps including Flickr, Last.FM and YouTube. The interface is designed to be remote driven but can be used with a keyboard/mouse. As its alpha it’s still fairly buggy but overall it offers some great features and functionality.

The King of Kong, A Fistful of Quarters - Finally managed to find some time to watch this documentary on the battle by Steve Wiebe to beat Billy Mitchell’s 25 year old Donkey Kong Hi-Score. Fantastic stuff!
