This life-size ‘Apollo LEM‘ made from steel, plywood and random electronics comes with its own drinks cabinet. Part of Tom Sachs ‘Space Program‘ exhibition, there’s also a fully functional mission-control unit. Complete genius!

We Choose The Moon – Follow the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in real time. Great use of the web and social media tools make this an interactive experience not to be missed.

I’m not a massive user of Twitter but I do find it useful for a couple of things, one of them being NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander twitter feed which today paid off with probably the best tweet ever regarding the discovery of ice on Mars.

Are you ready to celebrate? Well, get ready: We have ICE!!!!! Yes, ICE, *WATER ICE* on Mars! w00t!!! Best day ever!!

• Nasa have a press conference announcing something they’ve been searching for for the 50 years of it’s existence. A supernova that’s only 140 years old, discovered by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory.
• Cubescape – Isometric goodness from ‘The man in blue’ aka Cameron Adams written using jQuery
• Zattoo – Free Desktop TV. It’s pretty bandwidth hungry and the compression quality isn’t that great but hey it’s free (for the time being)!

• Massive Attack’s Meltdown – Looks like this could be interesting, Massive Attack have been announced as Artistic Directors of the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown festival.
• Name a satellite – Suggest a name for NASA’s Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST). Ends 31 March 2007.
