R2D2

  • Pentragram discuss their work on the new brand identity for AkzoNobel
  • If I had some spare time I’d spend it on these two projects. A paper V12 four-stroke Engine and R2D2

Wookie Rock

Great performance of Crazy from Gnarls Barkley at the MTV Movie Awards with Cee-Lo dressed as Darth Vader, Danger Mouse as Obi-Wan Kenobi and drummer Chris Vrenna as Chewbacca.

Authentic costumes were supplied by Lucas Films. So far we’ve seen them dressed as characters from ‘A Clockwork Orange’, ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘Napoleon Dynamite’, ‘Waynes World’, ‘Cheech and Chong’, ‘Wizard of Oz’ for Coachella 2006 and as airline pilots on the BBC’s Top of the Pops.
